The primary goal of this trip will be to share Christ’s love with the Turkana people and to develop relationships with them. We will work with and among the men, women, and children to learn their culture and hopefully, they will learn a little about ours. We will work with the in-country CMF missionaries and the local Turkana to assist in constructing a classroom building that is much needed in the Kakimat Village. We will also hold VBS activities with the children while training the youth to lead future VBS. Additional opportunities include Bible training, assisting in the community gardens, and praying for and with our hosts. Estimated cost $3,300-3,800 (depending on airfare costs). Contact Stephanie, 303-776-2927, ext. 265, for more information.

Informational meeting and Training: Tuesday, 7 p.m.

The Turkana Mission Trip Team will be training for six weeks, once per week, for the purpose of team building, learning about the Turkana culture and the country of Kenya, determining team and personal objectives, assigning individual responsibilities and answering questions.
