Jesus provides the good life. A life that is honest, real, and upfront. This type of life happens when we learn Jesus’ most important relationships, which include God, his friends, and the least and lost. What if we practiced these relationships with a couple of other guys who are figuring it out too? The Men’s Group offers the following opportunities to help you learn how to best practice these relationships.
Men’s Group Bible Study
Digs into Scripture and equips men to find God’s answer to what it means to engage in intentional transformation, so they become more like Christ in attitude, thought, and actions.
What Matters Most
A quarterly forum where men gather to discuss major topics that revolve around manhood. These forums are discussions based with a level of grace and respect, and a deep desire to journey together through life. The topics will range from following God, purity, healthy relationships, work, and family. Look for the upcoming gatherings of “What Matters Most” in the weekly bulletin.
Men’s 3.2 Groups
These groups address how we can live in the rhythm of Jesus by looking at Jesus’ lifestyle, and how we can join him in it. Jesus was all about life and was completely life-giving. The life God has opened up to us in Jesus is not meant to be an unsolvable puzzle. Jesus wasn’t moved by religious practices, or settling up debts with God for good behavior. No, Jesus moved in relationships. Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) is an amazing illustration of walking with Jesus: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
