The LifeSports Ministry at LifeBridge serves the greater Longmont area by cultivating community through sports and fitness for participants from ages three to 80+. LifeSports provides fitness classes, sports leagues, tournaments, instructional summer camps, and other recreational events that are open to the public, and led by qualified and caring individuals who wish to share their passion for their sport within the LifeSports community.


Upward and Cheer

upward-basketballUpward Basketball & Cheer is an exciting recreational basketball league for boys & girls in grades 1-6. Designed to teach the rules and fundamentals with a focus on sportsmanship, Upward will be a positive influence on your child as they experience 1-hour practices each week, and 1-hour games each Saturday. Whether playing in the game or cheering from the sidelines, Upward participants will have a great time learning and developing their basketball or cheer skills, becoming valuable members of a team. Waiver required.

Dance & Fitness

** LifeSports programs require all participants to complete an age-appropriate LifeBridge Medical Release form per calendar year prior to participating.**

Zumba Dance Fitness mixes effective body sculpting movements with fun, easy-to-follow dance steps. Zumba maximizes caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. Set to great upbeat music and led by a certified Zumba instructor, participants enjoy Zumba so much they forget it’s a workout!

Studio Dance
Studio Dance of Loveland teams with LifeSports in exceptional ballet and tap dance instruction for beginning and experienced dancers, ages 3-10. One-hour classes build character, integrity, grace, through focused training from qualified instructors. Within Studio Dance, students cultivate a love for music and dance for a lifetime. Costume, tights and shoes purchased separately.
 2016 Fall Session: Mondays, Sep 12 – Nov 14, 4pm (ages 3-4), 5pm (ages 5-7)
$100 for a 10-week season or $12/session drop-in

Fit 4 Life
Fit 4 Life is a friendly, low-impact workout that includes flexibility, stretch band and light weight use designed specifically for seniors. Join your LifeSports senior fitness instructor and other great seniors in a fun workout set to good music. FREE class.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
“HIIT It” in this high intensity interval training class utilizing strength training and cardiovascular conditioning. This is a fun, challenging, high calorie-burning class session led by a certified trainer.

Insanity Live!
Insanity Live is a cardio-based total body conditioning workout utilizing explosive cardio and plyometric drills, strength intervals and intense core and ab training. Insanity Live will push you to your limits at any fitness level. Get INSANE results without the use of weights or equipment. Dig deeper and receive encouragement from your certified Insanity Live instructor.

Leagues: Leagues are fun and competitive with an emphasis on sportsmanship and community. Leagues play in the winter, spring, summer, and fall. Leagues available: Men’s Basketball, Men’s Softball, Women’s Volleyball, and Coed Volleyball. Register as a free agent or bring a team. Cost varies per league. Visit the Upcoming Events section, for times, dates, open registration periods, and cost.

Sports Leagues Registration Information: All Participants must have a signed medical release on file. Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian complete and sign a Youth/Child/Minor Medical Release. Players must meet age requirements and a picture ID may be required. LifeSports reserves the right to appropriately place teams and individuals and regulate team rosters.

Men’s Basketball League: Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall Seasons:
Gather family, neighbors, friends and co-workers in this fun, competitive basketball league with an emphasis on sportsmanship and building strong friendships. Games officiated by certified high school varsity officials using slightly modified High School Federation rules. Players must be at least 30 years old (teams are allowed 2 players age 18-29 on the court). League plays Sunday evenings at St. John Church Gym, 323 Collyer St., Longmont. $375/team. Yearly waiver required.

 Adult Volleyball Leagues: Winter, Spring, Summer 1, Summer 2 & Fall seasons:
Choose your teammates, your league, your night of play, and enjoy adult volleyball on a weekly basis in an atmosphere of fun, relaxed competition. Weekly 1-hour matches are three games in length played over a 9-week season. We offer 5 seasons: winter, spring, summer 1, summer 2 and fall. $150/team. Leagues are self-officiated by teams playing. Yearly waiver required.

  • Monday Women’s Competitive and Women’s Intermediate
  • Tuesday Coed Competitive and Coed Intermediate
  • Thursday Coed Intermediate and Recreational

 Men’s Recreational Softball: Summer & Fall seasons
Men’s softball leagues are fun, competitive, and help build strong friendships and team chemistry. Whole teams and individual free agents looking for a team are welcome. Combine old and new friends together and form a team. League uses ASA rules and umpires. League plays Friday evenings on Draper Field at Clark Centennial Park, Mountain View and Alpine St., Longmont. Summer season is $630/team, $50/free agent; Fall season is $450/team, $45/free agent. Yearly waiver required.

High School Summer Basketball League
St. Vrain Summer High School Basketball League
LifeSports partners with St. Vrain Valley High School basketball programs and Area 9 Officials for player and team skills development in a summer basketball league format at LifeBridge. Coaches have opportunity to work with their incoming players in the off-season. Officials can work on mechanics, rules, game management and communication. This is an atmosphere of fun and competition among St. Vrain Valley high schools, and will introduce potential high school players to the teams and systems at their prospective school they will attend in fall. League is for incoming freshman and sophomore students for boys or girls basketball.
School teams registrations only, Mar 1 – May 8, 2017. Individual players must register with their prospective high school team coach, Mar 1- May 8. $400/team. Coach & player waivers required.
Girls League: Mon & Fri nights, May 12 – Jun 16, 2017
Boys League: Wed nights & Sats, May 13 – Jun 17, 2017
