Baptisms
We love getting to celebrate what God is doing in the lives of people in our church, and in our community! So, at the end of both services, there will be the opportunity to get baptized.
Baptism is a symbol of our decision to follow Jesus. The Bible teaches that we are saved by grace, through faith. We are baptized because Jesus commanded us to be baptized and commanded us to baptize others. It’s an act of obedience and is one of the first ways a new believer surrenders their life to Christ.
Let us know if you’re ready to take a step of faith towards Jesus and be baptized. One of our pastors would love to meet with you!
Good Friday
This day marks a time when people who follow Jesus reflect on his last meal with his friends (disciples), his arrest, his execution, and his resurrection from the dead (Easter). Good Friday is often a time of reflection and introspection.
But the story doesn’t end with Good Friday. This story is full of Good News about how Jesus has conquered the grave and the sin of all of humanity, on Easter morning. When we reflect on our shortcomings, it can lead us to discover the depths of Jesus’ love and faithfulness for all of us.
Use the following words, bible readings, and prayer prompts to come before Jesus. This is designed for you to do alone or with a friend.
