If Jesus, the Son of God, was completely dependent on God…there’s no good reason for us not to be. We are all dependent on something. You get to choose who are what you’re dependent on…but whatever your choice is, there are only 2 directions you can go. One direction leads to good, one does not.

The bad news is that sin separates us from God, and none of us can earn our way back.⁠ ⁠ But God.⁠ ⁠ Because of His great love and mercy, He sent Jesus to do what we never could. Through His life, death, and resurrection, the debt of sin was paid in full.⁠ ⁠ The gospel is simple and life-changing: salvation is not earned by our works—it is received by grace through faith in Jesus.
